As Executive Producer and internal owner of Kendrick Lamar: The Pop Out, I led Amazon Music’s cross-functional effort to deliver one of the most high-profile and culturally significant live events in the platform’s history. This exclusive project featured Kendrick Lamar live in concert and was conceived as both a landmark cultural moment and a tentpole content activation for Amazon’s music and video audiences.
I oversaw every stage of the project, from initial planning and stakeholder alignment through to production execution and final delivery. This included managing internal teams across content, production, legal, marketing, and product, as well as interfacing directly with artist management, external production partners, and Prime Video.
My role was central to shaping the creative execution, ensuring alignment with Kendrick’s artistic vision while delivering against Amazon’s technical, editorial, and operational standards. The project was developed for global distribution across Prime Video and Amazon Music, and it served as a major brand statement for Amazon’s commitment to culturally relevant, artist-led live programming.
The Pop Out not only showcased Kendrick Lamar’s artistry on a global stage, it also reinforced Amazon Music’s ability to execute ambitious, high-stakes projects that sit at the intersection of live performance, streaming innovation, and cultural influence.
